info for Glaze Making Demo:
All the information about the glaze-making demonstration is here:
Hi, I’d love to invite you to a special glaze-making demonstration at my studio, where I’ll be sharing a behind-the-scenes look into my creative process.
During this session, I’ll walk you through how I create a ceramic glaze from scratch. I’ll talk about the raw materials I use, how I mix them, and the alchemy that transforms earth and minerals into beautiful surface finishes.
Glaze-making is one of my favourite parts of working with clay—it’s where science meets art. Every ingredient, from clay and silica to oxides and fluxes, plays a crucial role in the final result. I’ll show you how I develop my one-of-a-kind glazes, and how even the smallest adjustments can affect colour, texture, and sheen. It’s a process that allows me to bring depth and personality into every piece I make.
I’d be so happy to share this part of my practice with you in person. Come along, connect, and witness the quiet magic that happens in the glaze bucket.
