Pottery for Beginners4 weeks Course
LOCATION: Classes held at Keramika Studio, Mullumbimby
DATES: This course will run for 4 weeks - on Thursdays
START DATE: 3rd September 2026,
TIME: 10am - 1pm
This 4 weeks course Tali Cohen Flantz from Keramika will teach you the fundamental techniques in hand building .
In this course, you will be able to learn Pinch,Slab and Coils Techniques. you will glaze and finish your own handmade pieces.
You will get the opportunity to learn and experience:
- Introduction of clay types and preparation for hand building
- Building and joining with slabs and coils
- Basic design principles
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
- Variety of Tools to use
- 6 pottery wheels available to use
- 1/2 Bag of clay of your choice
- Wooden stamps
- Decorating options of: Glazes, underglazes, slip decoration
*Please note: firing your pieces will have a fee applied, this will be determined by the weight. (15.80 per kg + 10 percentage discounts).
WHAT TO BRING?
- Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting clay on & comfortable shoes.
- A large towel dedicated for play/clay (pre-loved one is perfect)
- Tea and coffee supplied with love
You don't need to bring anything special, a great attitude and a willingness
for mindful activity is a must :)

Once your enrolment is completed you will receive a confirmation email. Please note our classes are very small and in high demand so we are unable to offer you a refund if you can’t make it.
If you miss a class, we can offer you a make-up studio time on Mondays.
